Pudding's grandsire is prolific International grade A show-jumping stallion, Sarah's Pride, TB GSB who was famously ridden by Carl Curtis. Sarah's pride dam being Bassetlaw a influential daughter of famous and prolific Gunner B, His other grandsire is Captain Maverick; with his GreatGrand sire being the all time great French race horse Nureyev. Northern Dancer is Nureyev's sire.
